The best way to lose weight or stay at a healthy weight is to consume fewer calories by eating healthy and exercise. Some of the basics for eating healthily are whole grains instead of refined sources of carbohydrates, eating a variety of fruits and vegetables and choosing low-fat calcium, dairy products & lean protein. Having healthy eating habits is good for weight control, your heart and other diseases.
A good fitness level helps maintain healthy weight. Most adults should strive for 2 1/2 hours of moderate-intensity exercise each week.
